GreenFunds teaches money in plain words, and accuracy comes before everything else. This page explains how we research, write, source and check what we publish, so you can judge our work for yourself.
Education first, not advice
Everything we publish is general education. Nothing on GreenFunds is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any specific product. The reader should learn something useful even if they never click a single link. See our Disclaimer for the full wording.
Independence
GreenFunds is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by NISM, SEBI or AMFI. We are not a SEBI registered investment adviser and we do not manage money. Our exam material is independent study support, and any completion certificate we issue is not the official one.
Sourcing and accuracy
Every statistic we publish is traced to a primary source, such as the RBI, SEBI, PIB, the Finance Ministry, NCFE, MoSPI, NSE or BSE. We do not invent figures, studies or quotes. Where a number is only an illustration, for example a worked rupee example of returns, we label it as an illustration and never present it as a promise. Rules, rates and limits change, especially tax, so we tell the reader to check the current official source.
How we write, and how we use AI
We research from primary sources and draft in plain language. Some drafting is assisted by AI tools, and every piece is then reviewed, edited and approved by a real person who is accountable for it before it is published. We do not publish content under invented author identities or fake credentials. The named author on a piece is a real person who stands behind it.
Authorship
Articles carry a byline that links to an author page. Most pieces are credited to the GreenFunds Editorial Team, the people who research, write and review our work, led by founder and editor Dhruv Rastogi. A piece written by one person carries that person's name.
Money, ads and disclosure
To keep our content free, some pages carry ads or affiliate links, where we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Ads are labelled, affiliate links are disclosed, and any sponsored content is marked as sponsored. Money never changes our education-first view, and we only mention things we believe are genuinely useful to explain.
Freshness and updates
Articles show a visible publish date and, where relevant, a "Last updated" date. We review evergreen pages on a regular cycle and refresh figures when the source data moves.
Corrections
We work hard to be accurate, but we are not perfect. When we get something wrong, we fix it. See our Corrections Policy for how we handle errors and how to report one.
