This policy explains how and why GreenFunds uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle any personal data collected this way. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie choices link in the footer of any page.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can remember your actions and preferences over time. "Similar technologies" include things like your browser's local storage, which we use to keep your learning progress on your own device. We use both only as described here.
Why we use them
We keep this deliberately light. We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to remember your cookie choice and your learning progress, to understand how pages are used so we can improve them, and to show and measure the ads that keep our content free.
The categories we use

Some of these are set by us (first-party) and some by the third-party services named above, which read only their own cookies. We do not use cookies for any purpose beyond the three categories here.
How long they last
Some cookies last only for your visit and expire when you close the browser. Others remember you on a later visit and last longer, depending on their purpose. Your saved cookie choice and your learning progress stay on your device until you clear them.
Your choices
- The cookie banner. When you first visit, and whenever your consent should be renewed, we ask before any analytics or advertising cookie runs. Say no and the whole site still works exactly the same.
- Change your mind any time. Use the Cookie choices link in the footer of any page. It reopens the same choice and takes effect immediately.
- Your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies and local storage may stop parts of the site, such as saved progress, from working.
- Advertising. You can opt out of personalised ads in your Google Ads Settings, and opt out of Clarity recording through Microsoft.

GreenFunds is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and we do not track, profile or target ads at children. See the Privacy Policy for more.
